Si hay un sitio en Santiago para ir a un concierto y formar parte de el ese es sin duda alguna el bar El Puente. Casi todos los jueves puedes encontrar conciertos interesantes, gratuitos, locos y la mayoría de veces de Jazz. El garito no es enormemente amplio, lo justo para meter a muchos músicos y menos gente de manera que el concierto se convierte en un acto intimo y cercano entre todos.
El responsable de esta pequeña utopia musical es el Sebas. Su filosofía está clara: sentirse de puta madre en su casa, montarse un buen rollo genial en su bar en el que pasa casi todo el día y disfrutar con la amistad de los grandísimos músicos que pasan por El Puente.

La banda está dirigida por Olivier Cano. Olivier es un tipo genialmente loco que lleva en volandas a una troupe de locos geniales compuesta por Miguelón a la caja, Alex Salgueiro al bombo y charles, Abel Leonardo a la guitarra, Bochu en la tuba, Justo Alcalde al fagot, Manolillo con el trombón, Martiño al saxo tenor y Manu Paíno a la trompeta.
Con A magnifique bande es imposible estarse quieto, antes de que te des cuenta te veras retorciendote al ritmo, unas veces funkcharanga y otras más jazz y Rock, de la música. El mejor remedio para pasar un rato muy divertido, alegre y escuchando muy buena música. El grupo esta muy loco, son muy divertidos y buena gente y eso lo trasmiten muy bien al publico por lo que las risas están garantizadas. Ojo con Olivier animando y lanzando proclamas a veces graciosas y otras decididamente surrealistas.
If there is a place available In Santiago where you can go to a concert and be a part of it, that’s Bar El Puente, no doubt about it. Most Thursdays, you can find interesting, free, crazy concerts, mostly jazz. Not a huge place, but quite enough for a good bunch of musicians and less audience, so that the concert becomes an intimate and close event for all in the house.
The person responsible for this little musical utopia is Sebas. His philosophy is crystal clear; just feel fucking good at home unfolding a real good atmosphere in his bar, where he stays most of the day, as well as enjoying the friendship of the great musicians who happen to go by El Puente.

With A Magnifique Bande, standing still is not an option. You’ll eventually find yourself twisting your body, be it funkcharanga, jazz or rock. The best prescription possible for a fun and happy time while listening to very good music. The band is utterly crazy, very amusing and they are really nice guys while they convey all that to the audience so that laughs are guaranteed. Watch out Oliver as he is entertaining and addressing the audience now funny, now in a definitively surreal way.
